The amazing models and designs from the LMSW Fashion Show |
As you would expect, many international students attended this free event, packing out The Couch with laughter and cheer. Students were exposed to cultural dance performances; which was an absolute blast as students were invited come up on stage and learn the dances for themselves.
Downstairs, students had a chance to get up close with some Australian scaly friends including snakes, lizards and, of course, a baby crocodile. Many students also joined other interactive activities such as face-painting and the two photo booths.
The event was a smooth success, as friendly volunteers assisted throughout the event.
As well as a great opportunity for international students to meet other international students from other countries and communities, it was also a valuable experience for newly arrived students to explore more about the city they live in. And, of course, a lot of fun.
